like representation of this auxiliary character or something so when you think about uh sorry to interrupt when you think about the trend in recent movies you know michael being the latest but also movies like uh super mario galaxy world movies like minecraft which were trashed by the critics but loved by the audiences yeah do you feel like critics are losing have they ever had the influence in a way

The Avatar movies, I don't think, got the best ratings from the critics, but they still raised to a billion dollars.

There's so many movies recently that haven't gotten the best treatment from the critics.

But maybe, as you're saying, the critics are going for the technical excellence of the movie.

Why?

Same thing with the Oscars.

Sometimes the movies that win the Oscars

were not exactly crowd pleasers and I think Chris Rock did a good bit about that with like white cheeks where he went

into the streets and white cheeks, everyone loved white cheeks.

White critics like trashed it.

But clearly sometimes I think there's that discrepancy between what the critics are looking for in a movie and what the audiences are looking for.

MJ was a huge figure globally.
