And it's obvious that right away they're already worried about the ramifications of it.
The fact that they're responding in this way to these constituents, they know that like Elon Musk is doing what the MAGA right wanted, but this isn't really what any voter asked for.
No voter asked to have their social security information and payment systems
tinkered with by some guy who's not been confirmed by the Senate, whose data security practices are up in the air that are unchecked from any kind of oversight capability.
So them acknowledging that, oh, this is a concern, we need to keep an eye on this.
It shows the hypocrisy in the way they act publicly, but it also shows they're concerned that this could snowball into bad electoral consequences.
So there's lots of the language like we will keep an eye on this.
We need to monitor this.
Security is paramount concern.
One of the letters from Senator Deb Fischer specifically mentioned this.
Tom Krause, who's head of cloud software, there's questions about that being a conflict of interest.
So they're getting more specific.
And this is just the first wave.
And of the dozen or so letters that we reviewed, those are just the ones we got our hands on and verified.
There could be a lot more from a lot more members of Congress.
Oh, no, that'd be too much of a risk now because they know that these letters can come out.
But in terms of them showing this concern already, you know, that's a big deal.
