That is something not only to celebrate, but to thank God for.
That we live in that country.
And if you don't mind me preaching a little bit as a Baptist, understanding that a lot of people may not agree.
We have this thing in Christianity where there's a saying that says the ground at the foot of Calvary is level.
It's available to everybody.
And Jesus explained this in a parable to his disciples where he said, a guy came to work early in the morning and the filled up owner said, I'll pay you X amount of money.
And they kept coming throughout the day.
And at the end of the day, he paid everybody equally.
And the guy that came early in the morning said, wait a second, I worked for 15 hours and you're paying me the same as this guy that came an hour before we ended?
That's not fair.
He goes, of course that's fair.
I told you what you were going to be paid.
I told them all what they were going to be paid.
And the idea was for us, salvation comes first.
when you're ready to accept salvation, whether it's in the beginning of your life or the end of your life, it's the same thing with America.
You become an American the second you raise your hand.
I think that's so unbelievably beautiful about this country.
