I mean, if I'm running somebody's presidential campaign, I'm like, stay off of social media.
I think the best thing to do is say we are a nation of laws, first of all.
And so if we have laws about who can come in the United States and who can't come into the United States, we should enforce those laws.
And we do that with the Border Patrol, the Border Patrol on the border.
Right.
Not in Dallas, not in Maine, not in Minneapolis.
So that's the first thing you do.
So we are a nation of laws, but we're also a compassionate nation as well.
And it's just a balancing act.
It's amazing Barack Obama was able to do that.
I know he he got a lot of pushback from from Hispanic groups because they called him the deporter in chief.
But he at least had an
A more compassionate approach that allowed immigrants to come in, that allowed people to pursue their green cards, that recognized refugee status.
So I would look to how Barack Obama did it.
He was very compassionate.
I would also say to Democrats, do what I do.
