I've been in sales since I was 14.
And my first business I started was I was throwing parties at 14.
So I was a party promoter.
I started a different venue.
So I'm actually Egyptian.
And the first party I threw was really revolutionary.
I threw a nightlife party at a hookah bar.
And I brought in belly dancers, I brought in DJs, and I basically changed the way that hookah bars are perceived in the Anaheim areas, like the Arab area.
People were shocked, because I'm a white guy that speaks fluent Arabic.
They're like, yeah, blonde-haired, blue-eyed guy speaking fluent Arabic to like people that, I grew up in like a reverse racist society where everyone's brown and I'm the only white dude, but I speak better Arabic than all the brown people.
But I can leverage that because, you know, Middle Eastern people, we all owned hookah bars or whatever at the time.
Now we're very established and very prominent, but at that time we didn't have big businesses, but I was able to like convince them to let me throw, you know,
a club basically.
And that started my career as a party promoter.
I had a DJ, I had a, you have a DJ name, Kent Nova.
I had a promoter name, personal branding.
And I, people still refer to me that name till today.
It was baby Joe's like, cause I was throwing, I was throwing parties.
