Even if Rodgers does come back, I would say this, I guess.

If Rodgers does come back and play and he ends up being the starter, then I would draft so that I have a whole bunch of stuff on my cupboard for next year for when it's either Will Howard, somebody else drafted, whomever, and Rodgers is not around.

Because if he comes back this year, he's not going to come back at 44.

As I told you yesterday, I think it's better just to move on at some point, and this would be the point.

But if not, I would draft so that I have everything that a young quarterback would need in 2027.

I would say that about a lot of quarterbacks.

All I know is that Howard at Kansas State, Howard at Ohio State won.

He's a winner.

He knows how to do that, and I think there's something to be said for that.

So, I mean, it comes down to whatever the case, whoever is here, I would make that, when it arrives, as a complete open competition.
