I like that.
It's a little Monday morning golf for a major finish.
It's kind of fun.
Yeah, golf has been on an incredible rise over the last decade, really.
Honestly, it stemmed in COVID.
It was one of the only things you could do recreationally that was outside.
You could be socially distanced.
And a lot of people tended to pick it up during that time.
And the question we all asked in the industry was whether we would keep them in the game.
And here we are,
five years removed and everyone is staying in the game and it continues to grow.
And I think more importantly, it continues to get younger, continues to get more diverse, more female participation.
And I think that's fantastic, right?
The more people that can pick up a club, the better.
And I think something that's driving that, which is really impressive and has been great to see here as well is the
What it means to play golf, quote unquote, is a lot different than it used to be 20, 30, 40 years ago.
It doesn't mean you have to play 18 holes.
You can go to the driving range, hit a bucket of balls, and you had a good experience with the game of golf.
So lowering the barrier to entry, I think, is good for all of us because it brings in people in a non-intimidating way that a country club or a traditional 18 holes could be.
And then at the end of the day, us in the events world are going to benefit from that because chances are if you're going to pick up the club, you're going to start following it.
