There's me, there's three people.
who work for the company i'm doing the corporate for the meeting the sole purpose of this meeting is is me is my talk um i am the star of the meeting but at the beginning and you can tell me whether i did the right i think i played out fine um they said we'll do introductions and
And then the three people in the meeting introduced themselves, their role in the company and how they sort of got involved in the neurodiversity project that they're doing.
And then I didn't know whether I should introduce myself at the end.
The whole time, sorry if any of them listened to this, I wasn't listening to any of their introductions because I'm thinking, do I introduce myself or do I look silly because they know who I am because they're there to meet me and they're booking me.
I don't know.
So what I did was, and I think I did pretty well with this.
I went, oh, I'm Joe, I'm the autistic comedian.
And I sort of said it with an element of like jokiness to it that made it look like it was a joke.
But I was also introducing myself.
I think I played out fine.
If you'd have seen it, you would have been impressed.
But I have no idea what any of those three people do.
because I wasn't thinking about what they were saying when they were introducing themselves.
What would you do in that situation?
Would you just go, I'm a star at the end, you know who I am?
doing the right thing and doing the polite thing that one you didn't listen to a fucking word they said and two you came off as an asshole you were like well i think we all know who i am maybe i should have just introduced myself i'm like oh i don't know it's also when you're there as a comic as well and they've all got proper job titles yeah and then you go oh i i do a podcast
Which is very worthwhile, but I don't have a proper title at the end.
I'm just a person.
There were also people, but they were people with jobs.
