A franchisee or a franchisee advisory council, if there is one, if the franchisor is progressive enough and big enough, can make an impact and help introduce some products or services.
But when I do my seminars on franchising live, when I do them in front of a crowd, I always use Subway as an example of a system that is really pretty rigid.
And, I mean, if you have an idea for a recipe, once in a while –
For an idea, once in a while it might fly, but in general, you're not going to buy a franchise of Subway.
Go to training and reteach folks how to make sandwiches because, well, if we put the cheese on top before the ham, we're going to save 1.4 seconds.

So anyway, I thought that was kind of a cool article.
