The Anfield Wrap
Wingers & Full Backs: The Gutter

I think there's a build-up issue.

The Anfield Wrap
Wingers & Full Backs: The Gutter

I think Curtis Jones is starting at the back because we're struggling to build up from the back.

The Anfield Wrap
Wingers & Full Backs: The Gutter

Now, the problem is those profiles of players don't exist much.

The Anfield Wrap
Wingers & Full Backs: The Gutter

We had the best one, but he obviously went to Madrid.

The Anfield Wrap

One thing that didn't stress me, another ex-Liverpool player that could play on both sides of the full-back was Nico Williams.

The Anfield Wrap
Wingers & Full Backs: The Gutter

Now, I'm not saying that's at all realistic.

The Anfield Wrap
Wingers & Full Backs: The Gutter

I have no idea if that would be at all a possibility.

The Anfield Wrap
Wingers & Full Backs: The Gutter

But maybe someone who can fill in both sides is quite a rare commodity in a full-back position.

The Anfield Wrap

But I think it's a case of what does the manager want?

The Anfield Wrap
Wingers & Full Backs: The Gutter

Because if the manager's sticking with Curtis Jones,

The Anfield Wrap

He obviously wants someone who can build up quite well, and Fringpong isn't that player.

The Anfield Wrap
Wingers & Full Backs: The Gutter

I think he's got a lot of qualities.

The Anfield Wrap
Wingers & Full Backs: The Gutter

I think when he's got space in front of him, he can be really effective.

The Anfield Wrap
Wingers & Full Backs: The Gutter

And I do think we are forgetting a bit about Bradley's qualities as well, because he's been out for so long.

The Anfield Wrap
Wingers & Full Backs: The Gutter

So it is a difficult one.

The Anfield Wrap
Wingers & Full Backs: The Gutter

I think it's how the manager is going to want to build out from the back and what sorts of choices he wants to make there.

The Anfield Wrap
Wingers & Full Backs: The Gutter

at the minute who look good enough no no i mean there's like poro or someone like that but i'm not overly convinced with him if i'm going to be totally honest i mean he's been in the system player as far as i can see yeah yeah so i'm not too convinced and and you're right though because if you have to you know all the stats of who's played right back the most it will be sobbing siren jones um but then why is he going out and buffering punk because that feels like a very you know contradictory way of what he wants

The Anfield Wrap
Wingers & Full Backs: The Gutter

but it's interesting because I mean you look at other teams you know City and Arsenal they've got like these unbelievable playmakers and they're doing all right they've got you know they've got Nunes who's a midfielder so I suppose there's something that's City they're interesting because City have got two midfielders a fullback O'Reilly and Nunes Arsenal have arguably got centre-backs I know Timber is not

The Anfield Wrap
Wingers & Full Backs: The Gutter

I'm actually alright with Kirchhaas personally.

The Anfield Wrap
Wingers & Full Backs: The Gutter

The fitness there, I think he gets up and down.
