but I don't know whether just signing players will have a material impact given the season we've had well I think when it comes to the mentality and I agree with you I think that's probably the biggest fear a lot of it depends upon why it's like that in terms of how it can be fixed because

The thing that was frustrating me was you were seeing a lot of the same mistakes repeated again and again and again.

And you know for a fact that these were things that they were obviously working on, but they were still going down the same road.

So the amount of times, to Andy's point, that Liverpool would have a good period in a game and not get a goal, both sides would suddenly think, well, they're going to go down the other end and score from the first attack.

And when your both teams are thinking that, inevitably it starts to happen.

And it's the same with the conceding goals later on.

If you've got a one goal lead and you're thinking, oh, well, we can go out there, get a second goal and kill the game.

You're thinking, no, we're going to concede here.

So you get deeper and deeper and deeper.

And changing that mentality, changing that mindset, how easy that is going to be.

This is going to depend upon how it started that way in the first place.

Now, there are obviously all of the things that we all know about that happened last season that aren't necessarily going to just have a nice, neat cut-off point when the season goes and you can start all over again.

But there are some preparation things that I think can be reset.

So that might have a difference.

But, yeah, if I'm honest...

I would be surprised to see Liverpool competing for the Premier League title next season.

I agree with Andy.

I think it's probably a two-year job.

And the other thing is that we are kind of looking at this and saying, oh, well, there's no one who's going to get... You don't need 90 points to win the league, so you don't have to be as good to win the league.

Liverpool aren't as good, so maybe they can get up there.
