So that's why I always have a tough time with this idea of the golem just being something that becomes animate because of some sort of
Hebrew words that are attached to it.
And again, Jewish people will say that God brings it to life, which again, I got a tough time going down that road as well.
But it gets a little bit crazier with the Gollum too, when they talk about what they use it for.
So the Halakha, it's the Jewish law.
There are all these types of
debates going on about the Gollum.
Well, even before the Gollum, there was this idea that the Jewish people could create, and check this out now, animals to eat that wouldn't fall under kosher law of the Halakha.
So whatever God told them as a part of this kosher law, well, these things were not created of God.
So when we create them, we can eat them however we want to eat them.
Well, that also plays off into the Gollum itself.
So it talks about how that, this is wild stuff, they create female golems to have relations with.
And the question was asked, if the father and the sons in a family all have relations with the same female golem, does this constitute as some sort of incest or whatever that is against the law?
Well, no, it was created by man.
So it falls outside of that.
