Because if you don't, someone will tell someone who tells someone and you get a bad rep.

The whole expectations around performance is one thing, which will never go away.

But I think now with the guys' personality coming up more, the whole social media thing, the whole off-field stuff needs to be well managed and guys need to know what the expectations are.

I think we had travelled from Africa and we went to Australia and we lost at Brisbane and we could have won the Tri-Nations or whatever it was called back then.

And I just remember, oh, and this was the year of the World Cup.

So I think it was only fortunate because it was a World Cup year.

There was a little bit of, you know, that's not the big ticket.

But if it wasn't World Cup year and we lost that game, coming back home would have been hard work.

So I think we were fortunate that, you know, New Zealand was like, OK, you know, that's not the big one this year.

And we're fortunate enough to go on and the team won the big one.

But, you know, that was one of those games sitting in the change rooms like this is not going to be good.

Yeah, obviously knowing Ted well enough and being across him in his coaching regime and when he was with Auckland and the Blues, he's very hands-on.

And talking to people, he obviously got the nod for the selector and you've seen him at the games, but he'll be very much there.

You know what I mean?
