There's they managed to call in it, they one of the the team lead, he managed to call in an airstrike on the dudes on the other side of the wall.
And we managed to to run out of there.
I I was hoisted up and carried.

My legs are trash.
I was put on a helicopter.
Uh we had a hot extract, these pararescue jumpers, these Air Force spec ops guys, they came in and they um
They took me and the guy with the claps slung away.
They flew us to to a uh a shank, the place I originally landed when I first arrived in Afghanistan for treatment.
And the other five guys that were down there, like they're they're broken off from the main group.
They're badly beaten up.
It isn't like they were unhurt, but they had to fight their way back into the city to reconnect with the rest of the SEAL team.
Like what they did was incredible.
But then I got brought to a medical tent and I uh was wheeled in and I I remember on the m on the flight over to to Shank, I didn't know the state of my injuries.
I I figured I was gonna be okay at this point, but I didn't really know.
And they had asked me the PJs on the flight, like, Hey, do you want morphine?
