I did. I had no idea. I had no clue what was happening until the umpire comes on with his, okay. And here, here's what we got. I actually have also never heard the stadium more silent. Uh, when an umpire has spoken before, it's such a weird progress, uh, of things that were happening. Um,
not knowing what, first of all, what was going on, why were they talking for so long, to the crowd getting so silent for an umpire to say something because nobody in the crowd, I think, knew what was going on. Nobody understood what just happened and what the conversations were. So it was interesting. The umpire didn't seem like he particularly knew what was going on when he first hit the microphone. No, he very much stumbled through what he was trying to figure out, and it didn't help the fans either at the game. Nobody knew. Everyone was then talking to each other and trying to figure out what was going on.
Don't think I knew it existed, quite honestly. But then logically, when you think about it, it makes sense. Like, oh, yeah, this is a possibility. And maybe even a possibility that teams can possibly, I don't know, they can utilize it to their advantage maybe now. Maybe it's understood a little bit more because of all the conversation that's around it.
but I have never experienced it. Logically, it just started making sense to the fact that someone didn't tag up, and yes, they cannot just tag up. You can just not tag up and try and take as many bases as you want. That does make sense. As a defensive team, you just have to appeal that, and you have to appeal it within...
I guess I think the entire staff, in all honesty, everyone has to be paying attention to something like that. But the pitcher and catcher also walked off like they thought the fly out was the third out, I feel like, as well. Yeah. Even the first base coach, I remember watching the replays.
