And I think that's the big part too.
So when, when balls are even, I think on that home run, that's the middle ball and a half off the plate.
not knees ball and a half off the plate or not up just out of the zone ball and a half off.
When that was happening,
he had more success things, things were going better for him.
Um, and I think those two miles an hour, that's, that's critical.
Obviously guys don't have enough time to process and think when they're at the plate, uh, on a 90 mile an hour fastball, let alone someone that's thrown a hundred miles an hour, but they have more time.
Um, and they definitely have more time when they're expecting something.
And they definitely have more time now, again, when it is a breaking ball.
He also needed, like, he wasn't finding that fastball early as well, and he had to go back.
A lot of guys, you know, as a pitcher, when you can't find your fastball, some of the early go-to pitches that you need to get back on track is a slider, a cut, or something that helps you get out front.
And he went to that, and both times was punished for it.
You know, you're not only have a diminished velocity, you're not really finding the plate.
And then when you do need to find the plate, you're throwing something that isn't moving enough and is slower than your fastball.
Like that's just not a recipe for success right now for him.
Yeah, I think the benefit is the fifth or sixth day type thing.
Like, he's given the time in between right now to kind of figure some of those things out.
