the way the balls are coming out, they're seeing it well.
I think the diminished velocity early, that's an easy piece, I think, to talk about and pick up.
But I think it's the breaking pitches and all the other off-speed things that come after that then become more hittable.
They become easier.
And I think we noticed that even yesterday's game.
I think his average velocity was below 91 still.
But earlier, you know, there was 89s and 90s.
And then a couple innings in, there's the 92s start coming back.
And then we saw more swing and missed.
And then we saw the breaking balls were being missed.
We saw just worse swings, I guess, overall.
So even two miles an hour is big for him.
He's a guy that is living on the edges.
He needs to live on those edges.
couple of times he's just a little bit too far off and guys aren't swinging, but then there's other times where he is a ball and a half, two balls off and balls are still hit hard.
Guys are seeing whatever it is that's coming out of his hand early enough to still want to go hack when it's a ball and a half off the plate.
Cause they know they can get a good piece of it.
