It's happened in Qatar.

Because in Qatar, the lead-in to the discussion of the political issues and the issues of migrant workers and all that continued quite late into the tournament.

Then you had that final.

And you had some brilliant games like the Argentina-Netherlands, and suddenly it's all washed away.

And weirdly enough now, because of the various issues of this World Cup, people are reminiscing about how wonderful Qatar was as a World Cup.

But maybe...

That's what's going to happen here.

But there are still issues that we can't and shouldn't ignore.

But when Messi turns it on, and Messi defies gravity, essentially, by scoring a hat-trick at a broke... Is he 39 yet?

I think he will be very soon.

But, you know, this guy is just rewriting football history in front of our eyes, and you just think, OK, yeah, this is why we fell in love with the game.
