Barry's generous.
So he's very generous.
And so just meeting Barry and being around him.
And obviously my initial reaction, well, this is the guy who coached Wayne Gretzky.
That's all I knew about it, right?
We didn't know a lot about his past.
Yeah.
Played 300 NHL games, uh, Red Wings, Jets, and Maple Leafs.
But so yeah, just being around his personality, how he lifted the room, didn't just light up a room, he lifted it up.
And his laugh, his wit, razor sharp wit, that's what made Parkinson's and the rest of his brain damage, whatever it was, and I think it was way more than Parkinson's uh
In my mind, we'll see.
I don't know if the family is gonna donate his brain at all for CT research or not.
Barry fought a lot.
And uh maybe that was part of it.
I don't know.
But yeah, to have that r razor sharp wit and then to get what he gets was just awful.
But you know, at the end it was tough on Barry.
He was having hallucinations, his brain was definitely abandoning him, really uh almost probably torturous these last couple of months, as I learned.
So after
Day one was just filled with so much sadness and just shock and unprepared for it.
