Right now, my view is the monetary policy is well positioned.
We're seeing steady growth with GDP growth around 2%.
I feel that's around the trend growth rate.
We saw that last year.
We're seeing that in the first half of this year.
So today, headline inflation on the PCE index is around 4%.
I expect that to come down each of the next several months as energy prices come down.
And also, as those energy prices come down, we'll see that show up also in core inflation.
