So it finally gets done two years later.

And it's around Thanksgiving, which is a great time in New England because everyone comes home for Thanksgiving.

And they go to the bars for Thanksgiving and the Thanksgiving football game.

My mom's birthday is close to Thanksgiving.

So we throw a Thanksgiving thing.

And it's not for my mom's birthday.

Everybody comes over because we're keying the door to the house for the first time.

The place still smells new.

And taking everybody for a tour and I'm bragging about like, ah, this is this and this is this thing.

And I built a bar over the garage because I had one space for me.

My mom doesn't like that, but she wanted to come see the whole house.

And when everybody gets in the bar room, I give my mom a birthday present.

And it's the key to the house.

And she, she like lost it.

Like she absolutely, she's like, I can't, I can't.

I'm like, no, it's already taken care of.

Movers are coming tomorrow.

My mom was living in the third floor of like a triple family in an attic in 300 square feet with her stuff packed in.

And she was just by herself packed in and she was content.

and happy that's who my mom is she's she's a lunch pail blue like she'd go to work uh she wouldn't accept it so then i had to negotiate i had to be a diplomat of like you don't understand there'll be trucks there tomorrow everyone's on board we're gonna move your stuff over i'll tell you what it's it's already here this isn't for me could you please at least give it a try so all this doesn't go to waste well if it's gonna go to waste
