And so now we take it back and we begin to use music again for that beautiful intention.
And we see some of that intention already through the Old Testament.
We see it with a young David where he goes and he plays his harp for the King Saul, and because King Saul was being demonized basically and and the demons would flee when when he would play.
We see all these great things.
We see the
the worshippers put on the front line of battle, so we know there's something
powerful about worshiping God and about singing songs.
And a lot of Christians aren't aware of it.
Even the Psalms, you know, like when you read the book of Psalms, those are actually songs that people sang to God.
So when we read Psalms, we're actually reading things that historically the Jewish nation was singing because they were reminding themselves of the testimonies of the faithful God Yahweh, who never
Ever, ever let them down, always showed himself strong, that he would not leave his people, he would not forsake his people.
And they're singing these testimonies to remind themselves of this good God.
And so
With music or with
business and et cetera, et cetera.
What you will find in Christianity, this is what Skillet has tried to do.
I'm not saying we've done it well, but we have tried to is say, okay, let's take what the devil distorted and just use it for good.
And that is why we might get surprised when
Jesus reaches somebody that that is running a camera for a podcast or from a ministry.
Somebody you thought could never reach out and they go, they go, Oh my gosh, I got I I heard the gospel message from these country hicks that do this podcast.
