You know what I mean?

They're good at it.

Like, you know, they're really good at it, you know.

One English academic, I can't remember his name, but he said recently that of 196 countries in the world, the British have invaded or had a military presence at some stage in 171 of them.

So they're absolute experts at...

you know, at counterinsurgency, at co-opting leaderships, you know, to dovetail with their own strategies and things like that.

I certainly would never underestimate, you know, the British when it comes to being able to, you know,

take on an insurgency.

They're very good at it.

They've experienced from their empire around the world.

So where did you do your 10 years?

I did my 10 years in Portlaoise Prison in the south of Ireland.

I got 10 years for the arms.

We were on an escape attempt in 1985, 12 of us.

made a break for freedom.

There was 14 gates.

We got through 13 of them.

And the explosives we put on the last gate actually buckled the gate.

And the second charge we put on to blow it out didn't go, unfortunately.

So, yeah.
