We all saw it with Auckland Tennis, that ASB classic.

He managed to keep that in the headlines for months, dragging out every announcement of every player, owning the sports media landscape for a couple of weeks every year.

And for him to put his hand up and say, hey, we can host this in Auckland, I don't actually think logistically it's possible right now.

And I do wonder whether or not a super round at Eden Park would even work.

Unless, of course, you turn the number two ground into some kind of party festival zone over that time.

But do you like the fact that he's put his hand up and actually at least made some noise and made some headlines about this?

No, I think it's probably a bit big.

And also, you need more of a precinct around it.

Kingsland is, you know, it's there.

But do you think, Mark, that feasibly Eden Park could host something like this right now?

Well, it did in Christchurch.

That's the thing.

It did in Christchurch, yeah, for three days.

Well, you went to Mount Smart Comedia Stadium over the weekend and there was, what, 8,000 or 9,000 people in there.

You were going to absolutely rock for that AFC game.

Oh, look, I've talked to him about it afterwards, and I've actually, I said to him that I thought it was a really good stunt, is what I thought it was.

And that's what it felt like to me.

It didn't feel like it was really real.

That's what they were celebrating.

But we're going to find that out next year if it goes back to Christchurch.
