think that's the only preparation we've got.

There's very few test matches these days where you get any lead in time.

Um we didn't have any real lead in time in terms of game time for the first three tests of the year.

Uh northern, you know, the end of the year northern tour, we never really get any game time and preparation.

We sometimes might use Japan, which might be a little arrogant as sort of um bit of game preparation, but they're a very good test side in their own right now.

Look, it is what it is.

You can only play the side in front of you.

And I think if you look at the three games, we did see

improvement throughout it.

Now the very first game up, you probably don't want super, super tough opposition.

You just want to almost find your feet.

You've come off the plane, you're traveling, you're staying in hotels.

Look, I I I thought the performance against the Bulls was excellent.

Obviously a lot of the starting 23 aren't weren't in that game.

I think the preparation's right.

Where I maybe question the All Blacks is the teams that they ran out in each of those games.

I would have liked to have seen that starting uh twenty-three line up against the Bulls a week out because my emphasis is on winning the first test rather than looking at the three, four test series and saying, Oh yeah, but we've still got to make sure we get our powder dry come the third and the fourth test.
