By now there has been a shift.

Catholic community is just narrowly a majority community.
Still, that doesn't lead on to an assumption that a border pull would be carried north of the border, because a lot of attitude surveys show that a younger generation of Catholic stroke nationalists in Northern Ireland don't adhere to the old values.
That's round one.
Round two, the Northern Unionist community
retain a deep-seated suspicion of Dublin.
