Yeah I was thirteen.

But we're driving over the the George Washington Bridge and we're in one MKRs it's like uh the Chevy Chiss movie.

You know the nice lampoons with a wooden tunnels and the side now.

And as we're going to across through the toll and over the bridge, all of a sudden just looking over your right, you see the skyline coming.

Over your right.

And uh we was a dire straight, comes on the radio, dn it and I remember we were j we all just lost our minds.

And we went you know, we were over for like a a boxing trip and we we ended up not even having any boxing but we went around and found a few gyms and trained.

We were in Connecticut, we were in Boston and then we finished up our last few days in New York.

And I just remember at that age and that moment come over the browser thinking, I'm moving here.

Um it was sure when I was younger too, all the fights you stayed up late they watch were were they?

They were in America.

You know what I mean?

And like I f I I I love boxing.

Like I what all the video tips and like a lot of fights happen in Madison Square Garden and you know, for all of a sudden they come over and have that like that that's an opportunity to happen.

Why not?

You know, and uh I but don't get me wrong, I I I had a lot of help along along the way so that uh the Irish people here in New York basically took me onto their wing and and the great thing about being in a boxing gym, it's not just Irish.

There was no there was Latinos, there's the Brooklyn community, the Bronx community.

And I remember when I had my first fight up in Jimmy's Bronx Cafe.

Irish Central up there.
