A a lot it's to do with the love of the sport and and and and uh you know like I I I was uh as you you you quoted earlier, like I I I don't think I ever remember knowing I was ranked number two.

You know, I never really I never really read under Ian Angley.

I always just kept focused and thought that it would all come eventually and uh and and and it didn't but but there was a transition in in my career where all of a sudden in my head I remember where where the love was going out and it was basically if they can't knock me out, it's gonna be a long night.

So that's and that's not the way to be a professional fighter, you know, and I had some really good fights where I seen little shadows.

I I fought a guy Matt Vanda where I boxed him Howard Eastman and I had a good fight against back home in Belfast, you know, and uh and that was the thing about like Howard Eastman was a big deal.

You know, he went a distance with Hopkins the year before.

I beat him and come back to New York and everyone's like, oh, wait Dolly, where have you been?

When are you fighting again?

I'm like, I just fought last week.

Well it's no like so when you fought in New York, everybody knows about it, you know.

And uh I think when I started losing the love and it all had to do just with the the journey of fighting and you know, management and stuff like that there and i i all of a sudden it became a job whereas I I was living a kid's dream and then the job where it was

It sounds it sounds very it sounds very like oh it's a it's a it's a cop out like but uh no, I I I'm the cliche, yeah.

Luckily I left when I did, yeah.

Because uh I could still fight.

I could still get a more pa paydays and stuff like that, but unfortunately I I knew how I fought and and the potential for me to get hurt, which was never a thought in my mind.

And the last uh

Let's say maybe eight, nine fights, that starts centering your mind.

I mean that starts centering your mind, then maybe I'm like, you know what?

Well, if if I couldn't knock them out, no, grab the ship.

But if they couldn't no, if they hit me hard and they couldn't knock me out, well then I'm gonna be there for the whole night.
