We've gone big mistakes on Netflix.
Last time I was on, we did The Pit, which is very heavy medical drama.
I just thought we needed to lighten the load.
It does, because Dan Levy is the co-creator, and he was the co-creator with his dad of the brilliant Schitt's Creek.
And I'm not swearing, that's what it's called, right?
Okay, what's the conceit here?
The conceit is a delightful one.
And again, like Schitt's Creek, it's in essence a family drama.
So Daniel Levy plays Nicky, who is a closeted pastor.
He's a gay man living somewhat of a secret life with his boyfriend.
If you want to get specific about it, that's exactly it, Pat.
But he is consummating, spoiler alert, which we do see at times, but it's not that type of show, I should say.
His mother, played by Laurie Metcalf, she's tough work, you know, as families can often be, and she's running for mayor, but he has a sister, played brilliantly by Taylor Ortega, who is a teacher.
She's not a bad teacher, but she wants more in life.
Their grandmother is dying at the start of the show.
So they go to a small little gift shop and they want to buy a kind of what seems like a knockoff bracelet to put possibly in their grandmother's coffin.
