Steve, you know, it's amazing.
If there's any state in the country that is dependent on illegal workers, it's Iowa because of the farms and the farmers here that need the labor when harvest season comes.
To a person, here's what they're telling me.
It's pretty amazing.
They're saying, look, back in the 70s, you know, we had legislation in the state house, in the state house and the governor and the state senate.
And we said, look, we're going to let
We're going to let temporary workers in.
We've got to find a way to do this.
We're going to embrace them when they come in.
They're here for a certain period of time.
They're going to get paid well, and then they leave.
Those who want to stay can apply for legal status.
It's going to take time.
They're going to assimilate.
We'll embrace them.
That's what Iowans have done since the 70s.
So what they're telling me to a person, we've got 20 million illegals here.
We want them out.
Trump said, came to the caucuses.
said, I'm going to get them out.
