And he says there's there's this one moment where this this woman has got this baby and and she's clearly starving and she's sort of, you know, coming out of her so one of his mates jumps down and gives us some food.
And then the whole column spontaneously stops.
And they feed this huge column of Italians and the officers just go, No, quite right.
He says this we should do more of this.
It's absolutely amazing.
Anyway, they're at they're attached to the to um Fourth Indian Division in Fifth Corps.
um north of Rome and they're now in s in a combination of Stuarts of Honeys, tanks, and and dingo armor cars.
And Sam by this point is is de facto leader in his troop.
Well, in fact the whole Recce unit, because they're the there's like eleven tanks on there, something like that.
It's quite small.
Uh and until the new CO arrives, because immediately after the fall of the Rome they're they're they're supporting the Gurkhas and
Sam likes the adjutant of the Gurkha battalion.
