For example, a lot of people would have been a lot better off during Storm Aowen, where some people lost, for example, power and access to transport for up to two weeks.
So putting aside that for your own personal use is a really good idea.
It also takes pressure off the local supermarket.
But to do it on this large scale, we'd be looking at, for example, all the obvious things uh rice, uh lentils, uh, as you said, chickpeas, you'd also be looking at
Flour, are you be looking at grains?
So these are the kind of dry things that can be stored, safely stored for years.
Now, what generally these stores are usually managed on a rotational basis.
In other words, the stock goes in and as it is moving towards its its sort of expiry date, it's uh it's sold out cheaply to the community, right?
Now, so you can rotate that through.
But it means at any given time you would keep a a a large stocks.
And by the way, people are probably wondering how what does large stocks mean?
So I did the numbers on this, and my estimate is that to feed, to provide the full calorific need.
For 5.5 million people for three months would it would require about 750,000 tons of uh food in dry storage.
Now, sounds like a lot, but it's an awful lot less than the 1.7 million tons of uh of of oil that we have in storage already.
So that's the idea, Matt.
And I would see it again as an insurance policy.
Nobody's expecting bad things to happen.
In the same way, you have fire insurance, I suspect.
