Robinson is 6'2".

Carrier is 6'2".

They definitely have size on their fourth line, on their identity line.

But a lot of their better players are anywhere between 5'8 and 6'.

This is not a huge team.

Now, Svechnikov, we talked about him.

He's 6'3".

But you take a look at the Canadiens players over their top three lines, and you compare them to Carolinas, the Carolinas players are not bigger.

But they're tenacious, they're well-conditioned, they're well-coached, they have a certain playing philosophy, they take away your time and space, they suffocate you, they're in your face all the time, and they make it a duty to finish their hits.

And the Canadians have a playing philosophy right now, John, that is not that.

And the question is, and my question to you is...

Do you have to have that playing... You know, the Canadians said, we can play any type of game the opposition throws at us.

And they hung around playing different types of games, but I'm not so sure that they can play this type of game.

So my question to you is, should the Canadians take this series and in the offseason say...

We need to play more like Carolina.

But then again, Carolina hasn't had success in a long time either.

So talk to me about that.

Yeah, and that's a slippery slope because I'll go way back to when Pittsburgh –

won back-to-back cups 16 17 and pittsburgh's decor wasn't that big you know they had the dailies they had mark streitz they had latangs uh you know you go down the list so they had all these defensemen that could get back to the puck and wheel it out of the zone and then some teams were like oh maybe that's the model and then you know other teams win and oh maybe we need to play like uh barry trotz's washington capitals we need to play the 1-1-3 in the neutral zone like

this slippery slope of seeing a one-off
