He was the mayor of Long Beach before he came to Congress.
And, you know, you know how it is in the House, Don.
seniority normally drives everything.
So he has leapfrogged over all kinds of people on the House Oversight Committee to become really the main voice for Democrats on the Oversight Committee.
And the Oversight Committee is where a lot of the action has been.
on this Epstein thing, and he has worked tirelessly.
A lot of people complain about the gerontocracy in the Democratic Party and their right to, all these geezers who don't understand the modern media landscape, don't understand social media, don't understand the importance of being everywhere all at once and doing all kinds of stuff to stay in people's face, the attention economy.
Robert Garcia gets it, and he has seized this moment when Democrats were largely on their heels
uh, saw the importance of this issue, I think on a moral level, but also on a political level and has just been relentless since this issue came to the fore.
There's not a single person who's done more, uh, on the democratic side to keep the pressure on, on the Epstein files than the Robert Garcia.
And I think he, you know, uh,
he said essentially what we were talking about before he came on, but I was heartened in a way just because I like to be proven right.
I mean, I, he's, he's got his eyes on the Senate already.
