The words that Donald Trump says in the White House more than any other words are, how's it playing?

He's constantly asking people, how's it playing?

How's it playing?

Usually he means in MAGA media, but he's been obsessed with you for a long time.

So when I thought, who's Trump going to start arresting?

If you ask me in the abstract,

I'd say when Trump starts to arrest journalists, he's going to go after independent media because he's starting to realize that if he goes after

Some of these corporations have just capitulated in front of him.

Others that have had backbone and resources like the New York Times have said, you know, no, we're not going to bend to you, nor the Wall Street Journal, same thing.

Independent media, you know, one of the problems, this is a longer discussion, but, you know, one of the things, you don't have some big corporation behind you with the deep pockets who's able to support you.

So I think he thinks that independent journalism is doing some of the most damage to him.

And also is the most resource starved in general.

And so he thinks that you guys are easy pickings and like he can go after people.

So I would have thought an independent journalist is who Trump will go after.

And he did.

He went after two of you.

And the fact that both of those independent journalists happen to be black and the one of them happens to be you, I was basically horrified but not surprised, which has essentially been my posture about everything for the last 10 years.

It's basically like horrified but not surprised.

Yeah.
