There are a couple of micro elements that I think could be better, but let's not have the perfect be the enemy of the good.
I think the number one objective, I mean, the end of this season was awful when half of the schedule is unwatchable on any given night, because if you have eight tanking teams, they all have an opponent.
that means 16 out of 30, that's half the league, right?
So like, you can't do that.
You have to protect the product first.
So this definitely accomplishes that.
Teams will be trying to win basically through the end of the season.
There will be some teams who are locked into the three ball area that will take their foot off the gas probably the last couple of weeks.
But other than that, everyone's gonna be trying basically through the course of the entire season.
And it even disincentivizes some of the things like shutting guys down.
