This song, like I said, I sat down at the piano and the depth of feeling I had, I mean, just to hit a note on the piano after months and months of not playing any music.
It has to move me and you have to trust that.
And I think that any good song that you trust and you're not overthinking that comes from the heart is what resonates with people.
And I think that the common denominator that I would love the takeaway for my music to be is that we're all in the same boat.
We all deal with the same challenges in life.
There's only a handful of emotions.
And if you can crystallize that in a piece of work, then hopefully it'll resonate.
Just like Fighter was about President Trump's fight,
If you didn't know that it was about President Trump, it could be about any daily battle that you're having.
And the same one with this one.
You know, it's about tremendous loss.
And where do you go after the loss?
And are you going to give up or are you going to see, you know, blue skies or, you know, a light at the end of the tunnel?
I think that's hopefully what resonates with people.
The song is called After It Burns.
There are links on my Instagram, which is at John Kahn Music, J-O-N-K-A-H-N Music, or Twitter at Mr. John David, which is M-R-J-O-N David.
And there are links at the top that have a link to all the streamers where you can get it, Amazon, iTunes, Apple Music, et cetera.
And I've gotten great feedback from the people back home in the Palisades, and that's really what...
what means the most and why I wanted to write the song.
Love you, Steve.
