teachers car mechanics you name it and what is extraordinary and it's very much a communitaire approach that appears to be long gone in in so many of our societies sort of on a saturday morning the teacher helps the kids in the block if they've got difficulties at school the i.t experts expert is going around fixing people's computers the plumber is fixing and that sort of thing
And that feels a long way away.
And people might say, yes, okay, but that's a very different societal setup.
But actually, we had that kind of societal setup not so long ago, and it wouldn't be that hard to reinstall.
So in terms of the long-term stuff, and you're absolutely right about Japan, I mean, the social care funding model is,
is just far more enlightened, far more long-term.
They started planning it in the 1980s.
And I looked at health in Taiwan.
I looked at sustainability in Costa Rica.
All these places, you can do this kind of thing.
