team goal as a marriage being something like money like we're gonna spend all of our time working and then you're not spending time with each other you're not um you're not going to church you're not hanging out with friends because it's like i gotta work on saturday you're getting home late you know like things like that then you're basing kind of your marriage on like how much money are we making yeah how you know how much can i work how much can i not and when that number starts going down you start to fight yeah or like
kid activities like kids sports like we're gonna make every baseball game or they've got gymnastics and art and you know jujitsu and whatever and all of a sudden it's like your whole life is just consumed with getting the kids to places and then your marriage starts to fail because you're not spending time with each other it's great you know
And I mean, there's times where, you know, there's seasons in life that you're going to be more focused on one thing than the other.
But like at the end of the day, if it's like you find yourself like, we're just constantly fighting about this thing.
It's like, why is that the most important part of our marriage?
Like if Christ is at the center of our marriage, if our kids are good, if we, you know, have a good relationship,
community have a peaceful house like no matter your money state or if your kids are making all their games or if whatever you have you know you're getting to do your hobbies or your friendships or whatever it's like okay we're like fine yeah as people we're our marriage is fine like this thing we're fighting about isn't even important in the first place it's so good what's that taylor song that i love so much like christ when i'm standing christ i know christ
