We didn't want to hide away from it.
My message to the fans would be that we're not sitting in there saying that's acceptable.
We're not all patting ourselves on the back and moving on.
and we know that something needs to change.
There's a big, big element where we know at this football club the fans can play a huge part in what we're trying to achieve towards the back end of the season.
Ultimately, the fans will always play off and feed off what we give them on the football pitch, which today was obviously far from good enough.
There's no side that's ever got themselves out of a relegation battle without support.
understand the understand the anger understand the frustration I'm never going to hide away from it absolutely spot on and I'll take it I'll take it on the chin that's why I wanted to go over because ultimately it's my responsibility John Massino speaking 45 minutes or more after the game ended against QPR
I'm really disappointed with the result.
I thought the performance was really good for the most part, particularly in the first half.
Apart from the goal, the way we ended the game, there was probably a spell in the second half where I thought Sheffield United got on top of it and we made a couple of changes to try and counter that.
Ultimately, it's a really difficult one to digest because I'm scratching my head as to how we lost the game.
We should have come away with at least a point and then, to be honest, I thought we should have won it.
I thought we looked organised, looked front footed, we created plenty.
The big disappointment was that when we got into those goal scoring moments we slashed at the ball or maybe made the wrong decision.
A couple of clearances off the line and a couple of wayward finishes so it was just about doing a bit more of that in the second half and we had plenty of opportunities.
We did have chances to go and do it and we didn't manage to.
Yeah, it's obviously not all about shots.
