And at that point, I was looking at things like, man.

Is this even worth it anymore?

Do I just need to go get a real job or should I quit this or what?

And I remember looking at my Google Analytics and I was getting over a thousand people a day.

Oh, my God, man, that was just so amazing to me back then because I was getting dozens a day and I was like, how did this happen?

And it turns out that there was some publication that had found.

A big news publication that found an article that I'd written about wadcutter bullets years previously that never went anywhere.

They linked to it in one of their articles saying, hey, this is what a wadcutter is.

And then that boosted Google or my Google rankings with a bunch of stuff.

And then I was like, OK, well, maybe this is a sign.

Maybe I need to keep doing it.

So I started at that point.

Actually, it was about a year later was when I wrote my first cartridge comparison and whatnot.

And then things really started coming up.

And there's definitely been ups and downs and whatnot over the years.

And I was really hurt by the Google search update a couple years ago.

I think it was early 2024.

But that's the thing, right?

You live by Google, you die by Google.

And luckily, I had really diversified my business at that point.
