I have the second edition of it.

But in any case, he became very, very well known in the industry because he was the rare person that was a veterinarian and so knew the details of animal anatomy like no one other than a veterinarian would know.

And he was a professional hunter, so he could talk about that.

And he knew guns and he knew ammo, and he also could write and tell stories.

And so he wrote several books like that that turned into be

very very popular among the safari hunting community and it turns out that in early 2020 he had just moved to the united states he had gotten a visa come over and had not started his job yet and so he was really bored and um

Then COVID happened, so he was just stuck at home.

And I just happened to, at this time, get his contact information from a mutual friend of ours and whatnot.

I was like, oh, let's see if this guy can come on the podcast.

And he did.

And the podcast episode was a big success.

He and I became friends.

I think he's been on the show maybe another 15 times or something since 2020.

And, uh, I've, we've talked about all kinds of stuff, Africa related on the show and everything.

Those episodes are always very, very entertaining.

And so, uh, he's got kind of gotten a boost later in his career, unexpectedly off of that.

He says he hears from former students and former clients of his all the time that heard him on my podcast and all of that stuff.

And, uh, that, that helped me get a lot of credibility in the Africa hunting spear and whatnot.

And he's introduced me to other people that he knew and, and, uh, the, uh,

I like talking about all guns and all hunting and everything on the show, but Africa really is my passion.
