They'll know what clients, what hunters, what guests, what hunting parties they've still got coming throughout the year.
They'll know how many animals they need.
They'll know what those people are looking for.
So if someone's coming out and they're trying to pinch them on every sort of animal, thinking that the outfit is desperate and he's just trying to sell these animals.
So he'll give them twenty percent off, he'll give them thirty percent off he'll do the shoot this one and I'll give you that one free.
Those types of hunters used to drive me absolutely up the wall.
And here's why.
Because
A lot of the times when I was dealing specifically with someone that was gonna come and hunt with me for the first time.
I would often give them a discounted animal whether it was
A kudu, a bushbuck, anyada, something that I realized was good and abundant in my area.
Um and something that I maybe got at a good price from the landowner.
When I'd sent them through a quote, I would put fifteen percent discount, five percent discount, ten percent discount, whatever it is.
Just as a little bit of a of a nice gesture, a little bit of a push to try and come and and book and hunt with me, which was no problem off my back, I didn't mind.
And a lot of the times when they came out they maybe they'd shoot one or two extra animals uh off their package or full price, which kinda covered it.
So that was fine.
I had no problems with that.
Or if there was somebody that came out and
They had shot.
extra animals above and beyond what they were initially expecting from the package or especially from what we'd spoken about and they shot two or three extra animals.
