Um it was absolutely stinking hot day when we went down there, but nonetheless they really enjoyed it.

Went to some cool restaurants, uh showed the in-laws around, showed them some of our uh little local fishing spots, uh shops that we like to go and visit, and they met some of our friends that we've gotten.

So um

The landscape, the scenery, all the attractions on part of Texas definitely did its part.

But the thing that my in-laws took away from that trip here and they just kept saying the same thing over and over again was just absolutely how amazing everybody in Texas was, how friendly they were, how welcoming they were.

They wanted to hear their stories.

They asked them about South Africa.

They couldn't get over the Texans.

So well done there to all you Texans.

definitely uh did it proud and thank you very much for making the in laws feel very welcome.

They had an absolute blast and hopefully we can get them back out just soon again.

I am now back.

As I said, uh time away was good.

I managed to come up with some really fantastic ideas, kind of rejuvenate me, get me excited again for doing
