But I was never going to be the PH or the outfitter or anything like that.

That was the second type of hunter that I turned down was always lion or leopard hunters.

Okay, coming in at number three on the list of hunters that I would turn down is the penny pinchers.

Oh, there is a lot of penny pinches out there.

And I kinda touched on this in previous episodes when I spoke about being a shitty client.

Uh and this is one of those that towards the end of my time in South Africa, when I had a really good, strong established business, I had a fantastic client basis with me, um strong reputation, people that would send me emails and say

you know, I I saw a package that you put up online, a planes game package where you were offering twenty-five percent off and a free water, whatever it may be.

I'd often do a lot of those small little packages just to fill up spots or to try and entice new clients.

And they would say, I would like this package, but I'm also looking for a a giraffe, an Elon Bull, um, you

know, can we add a buffalo onto it?

And

What sort of discount can you give me on those?

You know, the penny pinching guys were always those ones.

I'm I'm not gonna say the guys that are looking for a bargain.

I understand that.

That's completely different.

If you're out there and you see an outfit that puts up a deal and it's a fantastic uh offer and that's what you want, by all means go for it.

I wouldn't say you're a penny pincher, I'll say someone that uh is looking for good value for money.

That's fine.
