So we have no military option.
We tried the blockade.
We've tried a blockade two times now.
We tried a blockade after the first air war, which ended with the June 17th Memorandum of Understanding.
The blockade went away.
That's our blockade.
And then in mid-July, we put the blockade back on.
This is on July 14th, and that blockade is still on.
But the blockade was not working.
That's why the Besant strategy has been added to the mix, because the blockade wouldn't work.
So the question you have to ask yourself, is this Besant strategy likely to work?
And to get back to your question about Besant himself or Trump,
If it was a good strategy, as I said before, we would have used it much earlier.
They surely understand that we're desperate, we're flailing around, and this is a Hail Mary.
And the people who are inside the administration at lower or middle levels who deal with this issue surely are thinking about it, or at least most of them are surely thinking about it, the way most people on the outside are.
There are many people on the outside who are sympathetic to the administration, who are desperate to see the United States win this war against Iran.
But they understand that the likelihood that this strategy is going to produce victory is almost nil.
Yeah, and I think the word that you use, assets, is appropriate here because it's not just the bases.
It's all the really sophisticated radars that we had in the region that we depended very heavily on that the Iranians almost completely destroyed.
And, of course, the bases are no longer functioning for the most part.
