And a huge reason for this is when you make the playoffs, it's no different than the NCAA tournament, you make money as a program and as a conference.

And those two conferences know we're going to get more teams in every year because we're playing each other in our strength of schedules because we're all under the umbrella of our individual conferences.

are going to prop us up over the Texas Tech and the Big 12.

This conference isn't very good.

Like, Texas Tech is praying that Arizona State and BYU are excellent.

And maybe one other team, because like, okay, Iowa State this year is a top 20, 25 team as well.

Then it's like, okay, we're playing all those teams on this given year.

We can, if we win them, we have a fantastic strength of schedule.

But that's not always going to be the case.

That's Notre Dame's problem, right?

Notre Dame in a unique category because clearly they're building high-level rosters that are worthy of being a top 5-6 program.

But because of the way they have to schedule so far out, sometimes the programs they draw at North Carolina, Michigan State, who might have been good years ago, are not good now.

And so it doesn't look great.

And if they do drop the game against the good team, Miami, all the other wins feel a little hollow.

Even if we all can agree they're clearly good.

And I think the problem is you have so many people that all they give a shit about

And that's where I feel for the coaches who kind of get put in this tough spot.
