Obviously you'd run it by the manager and the manager say, Yeah, fire away if you're comfortable doing it, no problem.
And that's what you had and that's what you had w why you had time and time again where it was so so easy to get access to uh to interviews w with players.
And I think
You know, it's it's it's it's definitely missing within the game and you know, the particularly the the build up the the build up the games, but I can see the other side of why players and managers are are are reluctant or are being held back from doing interviews because
I mean you're seeing firsthand like what goes online now and and you know you're trying to you're trying to guard these players from from everything online now.
I mean
Ninety percent of it will be all right online, but it's it's the five, ten percent.
You even see it with with the stuff that we do, like you're you're not gonna please everyone.
Ninety percent will possibly like it, and then you'll have the other five or ten percent knockers that will will just want to knock for the sake of knocking.
And I think hence that's why it's so difficult to get to get access to interviews.

And and I think I think a lot a lot of it is down to like before, like, you know, if if you are on on say the end doing an interview with the independent or you were doing an interview with the the the Sun this the Sun newspaper or the star or for all or if you were doing kind of uh a a preview build up the the the the match and people kind of say oh Jesus there's there's Dan Shannon or there's Ken McGrath or there's Henry Shepherd and there's there's Tommy Well
And you know, you can you can recognise players.
Like I even take I watched the Waterford County final last Sunday.
And some of the Bally Gunner lads who who are probably the best club or the best club team in the in the country at the moment, I wouldn't I wouldn't recognise them though.
Take Aaron O'Neill or even Patrick, Fitzgerald, you know, these lads.
I wouldn't really kind of recognise these lads with with with with with our with their helmets off.
