I mean, it would be an interesting, and I use that in inverted commas, exercise situation.

To get a stopwatch out, I'm not advocating this for anybody unless you've got nothing else to do, but just to time the line-out, Irish line-outs, from the time the ball goes into touch or the line-out forms to the throw and see if there's a discrepancy in variation and see if it takes longer after they lose one for the ball to go in the next time or it's very quick the next time.

The thing is that you can't become introverted in what you're doing in the lineup to a degree.

You still have to have the courage to throw to the points and pick the points and go after it.

I think it would be wrong of Ireland to kind of retreat into a shell and go, we're only going to throw to two and it's going to be a timing jump and all that sort of stuff.

You have to look at what you can play off and what you want to play off.

So that will take a fair bit of courage.
