This is from the get-go, you've got to find your rhythm quickly and you've got to find a way to win these games because that gives you momentum and allows you to progress and you're going into a semi-final potentially.

That end of the competition, if you like the business end, if you don't win or you find a way to lose as Ireland did, then all of a sudden you're heading in the opposite direction.

So mostly, yeah, they're playing AIL.

So like a lot of them, you'll see UCC and UCD and a number of the clubs that have contributed, kind of heavily contributed, Shannon as well, players.

So you're not looking at Division 1A for all of these players, but also you're at different levels.

So you're like in 1B and 2A.

So that's completely different to playing professional rugby, playing AIL 2A or 1A.

So yeah, there's definitely a discrepancy in...

rugby IP, big match experience, a little bit more streetwise, I think, playing at a higher level, higher intensity, higher physicality.

So all of those are factors definitely in the performance.

You still, I like the fact that players stood up and, you know, you look at the Irish scrum, the work that Seamus Toomey's done there, there were aspects of the performance.

It was just the self-inflicted errors, right?

that were very costly in that match.

And it's a real pity because if they'd found a way, and you can say ifs and buts, if they had found a way to win, then all of a sudden Thursday is a kind of win on Thursday and you get to a semi-final and you can build a little bit into the tournament then.
